SUBCONSCIOUS & TRAUMA PATTERN WORK

Some patterns don’t begin in the present.

They were formed earlier — through repeated experiences, relational dynamics, or moments that overwhelmed your system.

You may not consciously think of them as trauma. But they continue to shape how you respond: how safe you feel, how you attach, how you protect yourself, and what you believe about who you are.

This work focuses on the deeper layer where those patterns are held.

This may be relevant if:

  • You feel triggered in ways that feel disproportionate

  • You shut down, dissociate, or become overwhelmed under stress

  • You carry persistent shame or self-criticism

  • You struggle with trust, safety or intimacy

  • You understand your history, but your reactions still feel automatic

What we mean by “trauma”

Trauma isn’t only a single dramatic event. It can also be:

  • Repeated emotional misattunement

  • Chronic stress in childhood or early relationships

  • Unpredictability, criticism, or instability

  • Experiences where your nervous system learned that connection wasn’t safe

Over time, these experiences become internal patterns — often outside conscious awareness.

How we work

Rather than repeatedly revisiting memories, we work with how the pattern is active now — in your body, your emotional responses and your relational dynamics.

The process may include:

  • Subconscious belief work

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Somatic awareness

  • Gentle exploration of formative experiences

  • Integration into present-day life

The aim is not catharsis.

It is steadier regulation, greater agency, and a different internal response over time.

Pace and containment

This work is paced and relational.

It is not about forcing breakthroughs or accelerating healing.

We build safety gradually, so shifts are sustainable and integrated rather than destabilising.

Longer containers (10 or 16 sessions) are often most supportive for this depth of work.

Online and in-person

Sessions are held online via secure video call, and I work with clients internationally. In-person sessions are also available in Paris, subject to availability.
